18. Guppy Council Announcement!
Significant Updates and Future Plans
This past 10 days has been one for the books. With the news dropping about Untamed Isles, setting up the council could not have come at a better time, and they have not disappointed.
At inception, the Phat Loot DeFi team appointed three members who further selected another three to add to the council, bringing the total count to six council members.

The Purpose of the Guppy Gang Council
The Guppy Gang Council has been established not only to assist in brainstorming new concepts that Phat Loot DeFi will bring to market but also aid in the decision-making process of pre-existing bottlenecks that Guppy Gang has faced. This can be anything from deciding on activities for the community schedule, to bringing to the forefront the general emotion that the community is feeling, the possibilities are endless.

The key here is the word execute, not only are they just providing feedback, but they are actively working to help complete different objectives as a part of the team.“

As the council develops and grows, we intend to provide them with more freedom in their roles and allow more of the community to get involved in the backend aspects of Guppy Gang.
Current Status & Days to Follow
After its formation, a council meeting was conducted to discuss the current challenges that need to be resolved. From deciding the date for the CyberGuppy snapshot and methods we need to choose between, to the release of the upcoming Crypty Crawler game, the council is already hard at work.
In the next few weeks, we will see the true power of the council start developing and what we can realistically accomplish together.
Please note: If you applied to the council and were not accepted, this does not mean that you won’t be considered in the near future. Our selections at this time have been strategic in the initial setup of the council, creating a foundation to onboard new members as time progresses and as we need more assistance.
